essential oils... yeah we've all heard of them. we've all seen them. they're everywhere right?

there is no regulation on essential oils. you could be getting a bottle full of pure therapeutic grade oil distilled from the actual plant, or you could be getting a bottle with 5% of that distilled oil & 95% of synthetic fragrance.

first thing is first. make sure you are using essential oils that are pure and safe to use on your skin. do your own research, don't believe everything i say, research everything i say. learn it for yourself. there are soooo many resources out there. i choose young living essential oils because of their #seedtoseal promise. they own all of their own farms [like for example you can walk onto any farm at any time to see exactly how they are making these bottles of plant magic], they do extensive checks on the quality of the soil to guarantee it's free of chemicals. young living can guarantee that their oils are purely distilled from the time they plant the seed to the time they seal the bottle. if you are interested in getting oils from young living, make sure you click on my join the collective button on the home page! i will send you a package full of super fun goodies to help you learn and get started using essential oils.

how to make a roller

so basically you will need

+ a roller bottle

+ essential oils of your choice

+ carrier oil

you can get rollers off of amazon, etsy, instagram, etc. i tend to get them off of Etsy in bulk, [if you would like to buy some rollers from me, send me an email or direct message!]

step 1. add anywhere from 5-15 drops of each essential oil you would like. citrus is my go to for perfumes. also, citrus essential oils are very uplifting & can help you improve your mood.

step 2. add your carrier oil.

some popular carrier oils include fractionated coconut oil [make sure it's fractionated, that means liquid], young living's v6 oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, avocado oil, you can use pretty much anything you'd like depending on what you are using it for and how sensitive your skin is. my go to is fractionated coconut oil.

step 3. pop your roller top back on the bottle & #getrollin. my fave place to apply my rollers are the back of my neck, spine, wrists, and over my heart.

when i first started making rollers, i searched alllllll over instagram for recipes. eventually i started intuitively listening to what my body was needing. when i felt like i needed grounding, i found myself reaching for frankincense & sacred mountain. when i felt like i needed courage, i found myself reaching for valor. when i felt like i needed peace, i found myself reaching for peace & calming [which is my fave. of all time. in the history. of ever]. when i felt like i needed a mood booster or something uplifting, i found myself reaching for grapefruit or bergamot #givemeallthecitrusoils. when you listen to your body, it will tell you what it needs. isn't it crazy how you can completely change your mood by making and using something as simple as a roller ball full of essential oils as "perfume"?!

go forth and use your oils. there's a reason they are called essential. ha, get it.
